"Thank You" to the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation for a $3,000 grant to provide local food assistance from our two newest food pantries in Lockwood and Waverly, NY!

The Tioga County Open Door Mission is proud to announce that we have received a $3,000 grant from the Tioga County Senior Citizens Foundation to help provide food assistance for two of our newest food pantries in both Lockwood and Waverly, NY.

Our pantries provide nutritious food options as well as advocacy, referrals, and emergency financial assistance as funds are available.  Our newest senior food pantry in Waverly NY is limited to individuals 60 yrs of age or older and is open weekly 10am-4pm on Thursdays  behind our Red Door Thrift Store location on DePumpo Lane.  Our Lockwood food pantry opened in Fall of 2014 is located inside the Lockwood United Methodist Church, 95 Church St, Lockwood, NY and the pantry is open each Friday from 10am-2pm.
